One of the nation’s foremost Lincoln scholars, he is the author of the highly-acclaimed biography Summoned to Glory:  The Audacious Life of Abraham Lincoln.

A spell-binding public speaker, Striner taught history for over thirty years at Washington College, in Chestertown, Maryland.  He now devotes himself full-time to book authorship, public speaking, and consulting.
